The European Cooperation System welcomes Broward County and affirms its commitment to joint projects involving youth, sports and the local economy.

On June 24, 2025, the European Cooperation System had the honor of participating in the international event “Doing Business with FIFA World Cup 2026™,” organized by the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) as part of its prestigious Doing Business with the World series. This major event, hosted by Ms. Paola Isaac Baraya, International Chief Economic Development Officer – Trade & Protocol at OESBD, brought together 686 participants in a hybrid format, both in person and online.

On this occasion, Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT, President of the European Cooperation System, was warmly welcomed by the local authorities of Broward County. The President publicly expressed his deep gratitude to Ms. Alexandra P. Davis, Broward County Commissioner and Representative of the Commission at the 10th anniversary of FITCE. He praised the work done by Ms. Alina Hudak, Chair of the Host Committee for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ in Miami, and Mr. Gustavo Mora, Head of Premium Sales for Inter Miami. He noted that their commitment to promoting soccer internationally has made Miami one of the world’s soccer capitals.

The presentation by Mr. MVOGO SAINT, bearer of the official FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ ball signed by President Gianni Infantino, Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saoud, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Washington, and several international football legends including Ronaldo, Roberto Baggio of Italy, and Portuguese player Lima Ferreira “Pépé,” winner of three UEFA Champions Leagues, the Euro, and more than 10 other international titles. The ball was also signed by Essam El Hadary, Egypt’s best goalkeeper, four-time African Cup winner and eight-time Egyptian champion with Al Ahly FC. The overall summary of Mr. Gabriel Mvogo’s speech focused on the symbolism of the union between non-governmental diplomacy, global youth, sport, and economic development. This meaningful idea is in line with the mission of the European Cooperation System: to mobilize major sporting events and make them vectors of social innovation, economic cooperation, and youth inclusion.

The European Cooperation System reaffirms its commitment to developing concrete partnerships with Broward County institutions and organizations, particularly in the areas of youth, sports, economic innovation, and cultural industries. We are excited about the opportunities offered by the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, whose economic impact on South Florida’s economy is estimated at between $1.3 and $1.5 billion, according to NBC 6 South Florida.
