It was a real pleasure to be actively involved from 5-8 September 2023 in Singapore at Gastech 2024. Gastech is the world’s largest energy exhibition and conference for natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, climate technologies and low-carbon solutions.
Gastech 2024 is the world’s largest meeting place for natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, low-carbon solutions and climate technologies.
The first day featured a series of insightful contributions from policymakers, CEOs and business leaders on the multiple and interconnected challenges facing the global energy sector. The European Cooperation System and delegates discussed the essential role of natural gas, LNG and hydrogen as key drivers of future energy security and accelerators of the energy transition, in Asia and beyond.
On the opening day of Gastech 2023, Michael Sabel, CEO of Venture Global LNG, and Lorenzo Simonelli, Chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes, announced Venture Global LNG‘s long-term expansion plan to increase production from 70 million tonnes per annum to over 100 million tonnes per annum of LNG export capacity.
